It turns out my 12.5 hour supershift right before vacation did quite a bit of good. I was fearing a pretty small check because of taking vacation. After all, you are only credited 8 hours per day. I haven't worked a shift that short since time unremembered. I piled enough on each side of the vacation that check was pretty normal.
My GM has decided that the company will reimburse me for my CDL testing and DMV-required physical. There's $125 I was expecting to not have. Sweet. If you figure in all the behind the wheel training I'll be getting for free this is going to be a pretty nice little venture.
It's still quiet in here.
